ST PETER’S Church in Norton is to host its first dementia-friendly service in a bid to make attending more accessible for people living with the condition.
The specially-adapted service is planned for Sunday, July 28, at 4pm.
Alison Hutchinson, Lay Reader at St Peter’s, said: “Our aim is to make everyone who wants to worship in our church feel welcome in practicing their faith here, so hope that creating a more dementia-friendly form of service will help everyone feel comfortable and able to play their part of our church community. We would like to invite anyone living with dementia and their carers to come along and enjoy the service with us.”
